Cattery Management

The state of health and wellbeing of our cats and kittens in our cattery is medically fully observed and taken care of by our excellent veterinary surgeon dr. Sam Verstraete.

If you wish to know him and his surgery better, please surf to his site by clicking his logo.

Our cattery is a rather small cattery with a few queens and 2 studs.
We consciously prefer to keep our cattery small, as we strongly believe that too large a number of cats might more easily make them vulnerable to the spread of diseases.

As soon as our kittens see the light of day, they are pampered with the best of care. From day one onwards our vet is involved with the advice and assistance. By the time they're old enough (14 weeks) to move to a new loving family, they have already received all the necessary vaccinations. These vaccinations are procured between their 8th and 12th week. In that same period of time they have also been wormed 3 times. Kittens that are taken abroad are also vaccinated against rabies and they get a microchip implanted into their necks. Both these procedures are actually legally compulsive.

Should you wish to have one of our kittens, then you will be extensively informed about the pet's character, the specific care and food it needs, etc...
Besides a guarantee card and a European vaccination certificate or animal's passport, a pedigree of the best bloodlines of ancestors as far as health and appearance are concerned, will be added.

All our kittens are raised in a domestic loving environment where they are spoilt like babies by our darling children, which makes them very affectionate and sociable with people and congeners.
